Cindy Mauchi is a fashion designer and illustrator born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She moved to New York City to study Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and went on to work as a Senior Menswear Designer for Nautica and Tommy Hilfiger. In 2014, she relocated to New Hampshire with her husband and two children.
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mauchi shifted her creative focus toward illustration. She enrolled at the Art Students League of New York, where she continues to evolve under Charles Nitzberg. His mentorship has been a formative influence in shaping her approach to fashion illustration, encouraging a deeper exploration of form, gesture, and expression.
Her illustrations have been exhibited at the Art Students League Salon Show (NYC), the Kittery Art Association (Kittery, Maine), the Mosaic Art Collective (Manchester, New Hampshire), and in a solo exhibit at 3S Artspace (Portsmouth, New Hampshire). She has also collaborated with 3S Artspace Project Upcycle on artwork for their marketing campaign. Mauchi has most recently worked as a Fashion Consultant for DKNY, Dogg Supply, Chaps from her studio in New Hampshire.
